How does the certification program work?
The certification program begins with participants completing training modules and hands-on labs. Since some modules are only accessible with a VIP membership, you must have a VIP subscription to complete all content. After completing all content, you need to purchase an exam voucher to take the certification exam. The exam consists entirely of practical questions and is conducted on real systems. Upon achieving a passing score and completing the review/approval process, your certificate will be issued.
Is the certification program and exam participation paid?
Registration for the certification program is completely free. However, some modules and content in the training curriculum are offered under VIP membership. After completing the training process, you will need to obtain an exam voucher to qualify for certification.
How long does it take to complete the certification?
Completing the Certified Associate Penetration Tester certification typically takes about 1 month, depending on your prior experience and the time you dedicate.
Is there a time limit to complete the certification content?
No, you can complete the module content offered within the certification at your own pace. There is no time limit for this. We understand that everyone has different learning speeds and commitments.
What is required to pass the exam?
While answering all questions in the exam is not mandatory, a minimum score of 70 out of 100 is required to qualify for certification. Additionally, the relevant report template must be completed in accordance with the standards during the exam process. Exam sessions without a submitted report or with an incomplete report will be considered invalid regardless of the score.
What happens if I fail the certification exam?
If you fail the certification exam, you can retry using the additional attempts defined in your exam voucher. If your available attempts are exhausted, you will need to obtain a new exam voucher to continue the process.
How does the exam security and cheating detection process work?
Exams are rigorously analyzed by our automation systems and expert team. The use of external assistance or unethical methods constitutes a policy violation; such actions result in the termination and invalidation of the exam.
What is the exam duration?
The exam duration is 24 hours. Once started, this time cannot be paused or extended. If you complete your exam before the 24 hours expire, you may submit it early.
I completed the exam, when will my certificate be approved?
After you complete the exam and submit your report, our team will review it within 1 to 5 business days for plagiarism checks and success criteria evaluation. Once your certificate and exam are approved, you will receive an email with the approval information.
