Overview

Metadata is a Digital Forensics lab about examining an image file as evidence, not only as visual content.

The scenario is useful for learning how file properties, embedded tags, timestamps, camera traces, editing history, and other metadata fields can provide investigative context. The goal is to build the habit of checking the structure around a file before assuming the visible image contains the whole story.

It fits learners practicing steganography and evidence review, especially when the signal is hidden in file details rather than pixels.
