Overview

Whitespace is a Digital Forensics lab about inspecting a file that appears empty or visually uninteresting at first.

The scenario reinforces a simple but important habit: evidence can be hidden in formatting, spacing, invisible characters, or text structure that a normal viewer does not make obvious. A forensic workflow should account for what the interface hides as well as what it displays.

This lab fits learners practicing steganography basics, text artifact review, and careful file inspection.
